With 25 hours of downtime this month alone, I am moving the site to IsMyWebsite effective ASAP. You will see a small IMW button on the portal as this is a requirement, but as it is only required to show on the main page, it should not affect your forum experience in any way.

What's up with half the links not working? :| and the IP address as the URL. Thats inconvenient.

So what happened to Host2x? I never noticed any downtime.

The IP address as the URL will be resolved soon, as will the broken links.
Also, you may want to read the November downtime column.

After the owner transition, we changed servers and the posts went missing in action. VPS.net, the provider of space for Host2x, brings the entire host down when one questionable site on the server is found. Also, when the server reboots, the server tends to stay down for some time. We've had enough downtime with Host2x's old owner, Joe.

I know, we migrated hosts -- AGAIN -- but I'm sure we've all noticed excessive downtime.

I've noticed significant downtime myself. If this hosting move will result in less downtime and a better experience, I say go for it by any means necessary. I can put up with a temporary move so long as all data is retained, which you have done a good job of doing.
